Part of the issue isn't the skills to fix them -- the inefficiencies often have a reason behind them. So if you pull that thread, fix that thing, it creates many new problems that the farmer just doesn't feel like explaining to you. Even fixing a labour cost problem has knock on effects. There are just so many organzitions and gov backed programs tied to international trade... finding a lane to focus on is much easier with insider knowledge.
